Steampunk Inventor Outfit 2 by DovSherman Steampunk Inventor Outfit 2 by DovSherman
SteamCon 2009 featured a photo salon where I had my picture taken in the outfit I designed and crafted myself. I decided to dress as me, Pandora Wrigglesworth, for the convention.

The skirt features a full bustle and the toolbelt is hand-sewn. I used the same materials across all pieces of the outfit. The tools and guns were adapted from toy tools and guns which I painted with metallic paints.

I got the basic patterns for the bustle and skirt from Truly Victorian and I improvised the patterns for the blouse, underbust vest, jabot, belt, and hat.

I think you and Artemis Gordon from Wild Wild West (the modern Movie) might get along well.

HEY! I know that couch!

I was also at SteamCon '09

I am much jealous of your utility belt/corcet. It's much cooler than mine. XD

Thoroughly awesome...now, of course, you need to have a face-off between Pandora Wrigglesworth and Agatha Heterodyne... :3

The funny thing about that is that I didn't get around to reading Girl Genius until I had already been running Curio Obscura for several months. People kept saying "Hey, just like in Girl Genius!" or "I bet you like Girl Genius." So I finally started reading Girl Genius and now I am fan too.
